Exmouth and District u3a bowls group played their last outdoor game of the season.
On Tuesday, September 17, the group played at Budleigh Salterton Bowls Club, competing in a game of Crazy Bowls, which required players to use their non-dominant hands.
After two hours of play, the team of Bob Norton, Margaret Alvarez, Chris Williamson, and Chris Woodward emerged as the clear winners.
This group, established in 2022, meets every Tuesday at Budleigh Bowls Club for friendly yet competitive matches.
More than 80 members have participated, with around 50 bowlers making the journey each week.
The u3a movement is a national charity that provides learning opportunities for retired and semi-retired people.
The Exmouth & District branch, one of the largest in the country, boasts approximately 1,200 members.
With the motto Live, Laugh, Learn, the branch offers nearly 100 activities, ranging from sports and arts to languages and book clubs.
