A new children's book has been launched at a library event.
Author Catherine Harmson and Westcountry artist Penny Silverthorne introduced their new book, Watch Out!
The author and the illustrator unveiled the book at the Budleigh Salterton Library, last Saturday.
The story, illustrated by Colaton Raleigh-based Penny, is about a cheeky seagull and teaches children the days of the week while encouraging counting skills.
Catherine read the story to the young audience at the library.
A copy has been donated to the library and it is also available for sale at Paragon Bookshop Sidmouth, Sidmouth Lifeboat Station and online on Amazon.
