Budleigh Runners took over all volunteer roles at Exmouth Parkrun.
More than 350 people ran or walked the five-kilometre route.
The event coincided with the 20th anniversary of the first-ever Parkrun.
Members of Budleigh Runners helped set up the course, acted as pacers, scanned barcodes, and ensured participant safety as marshals.
The club, which regularly has members volunteering at Exmouth Parkrun, wanted to show appreciation to the core team for their consistent organisation of the event.
They decided the best way to do this was by taking over all the volunteer positions.
This gesture was a way of giving back to the community and thanking Parkrun for its free weekly events.
