A youth centre has won a Tesco appeal just in time for its reopening.
The Hive Youth Centre in Exmouth has announced it has been successful in Tesco's Blue Token Appeal through the Stronger Starts Fund.
The funding will be used to buy resources for the centre.
This win comes just in time for the centre's reopening at its new location.
Steve, manager of The Hive Youth Centre, said: "We are incredibly grateful to everyone who voted for us.
"This support comes at a crucial moment for The Hive as we reopen, and it will allow us to enhance the resources available to our young people in Exmouth."
The Hive Youth Centre offers a range of activities for young people, including after-school clubs and creative sessions.
This new funding from the Stronger Starts Fund means the centre can invest in resources that will improve its programmes and ensure a welcoming environment for all young people in the community.
Steve said: "This win is a fantastic community effort, and we are excited to put this funding to good use for young people in Exmouth."
The centre invites young people aged 11 to 19 to explore the resources and sessions available.
