A new season of low-cost film screenings is set to start in Exmouth Library.

The Films at the Library initiative, organised by Libraries Unlimited, is entering its seventh season, offering affordable entertainment options.

The screenings will begin on November 6, with tickets priced at just £3.

Film enthusiasts can buy tickets online or in person at the library.

The library has announced its film line-up for November, which includes The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry and Wonka, both of which will be screened on November 21 at 1pm and 4pm respectively.

Tamsin Pender, programme co-ordinator at Libraries Unlimited, said: "'Films at the Library' has become a much-loved permanent fixture in our calendar, with two seasons running each year.

"We're keeping our prices much lower than standard cinema costs and giving people the opportunity to enjoy new and less well-known films as well as some old favourites.

"Our customers have said they love the atmosphere and the fact you can bring as many blankets and cushions as you like and really relax.

"Winter is the perfect time to snuggle up in a warm welcoming library for an afternoon or evening of low-cost film indulgence."
