Drivers in and around East Devon will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 8pm October 17 to 6am October 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 29 exit slip road closures, for electrical works, diversion M5 southbound, via M5, junction 30, diversion M5 northbound, For A30/Airport use M5, junction 30, all other traffic via M5, junction 28.
• A30, from 8pm October 17 to 6am October 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound and westbound, Daisymount to Sowton, diversions via: B3180. A3052 onto Sidmouth Road, the onto Moor Lane, to A3015 to re-join M5 and A30.
• M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
