Woodbury Parish Council has been given the Quality Council award in the Local Council Award Scheme.
This recognises the council's good governance, community engagement, and continual improvement beyond legal obligations.
The award scheme report praised the council's strong areas, including community engagement, ward councillor surgeries, community consultations, and governance.
Councillor Cheryl McGauley, the council's chairman, said: "We were thrilled to receive accreditation for this award as it reflects the hard work and collaborative efforts of all the councillors and parish staff, who strive to run a smooth, efficient and best value council."
