New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to East Devon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
New Blue Dragon Express, at 39 Albion Street, Exmouth was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 3.
And Exmouth Kebab House, at Unit 2, 7 Rolle Street, Exmouth was given a score of two on October 3.
An East Devon restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Ice Cream Parlour, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 3 Shelly Court, Pier Head, Exmouth was given the score after assessment on October 2, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
Restaurants, cafes and canteens
The following rating has been given to one restaurant, cafe or canteen:
• Rated 5: El Olivo at 41 The Strand, Exmouth; rated on October 17
Pubs, bars and nightclubs
And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:
• Rated 5: Radway Inn at 1 Radway Place, Sidmouth; rated on October 30
• Rated 5: Axminster Conservative Club at Silver Street, Axminster; rated on October 24
Takeaways
Plus one rating for a takeaway:
• Rated 5: The Newton Poppleford Community Larder at Exeter Inn, High Street, Newton Poppleford, Sidmouth; rated on October 23
It means that of East Devon's 306 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 231 (75%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
