East Budleigh and Budleigh fell silent on Sunday (November 11) to remember those who have been killed in conflicts across the globe.

Taking place around 11 am on November 11, dignitaries and residents gathered around the war memorial on Coastguard Hill and the war memorial in East Budleigh to pay their respects.

MP for Exmouth and Exeter East David Reed and tory councillor for Budleigh Henry Riddell attended the ceremony in Budleigh.

Tom Wright laid the Wreath on behalf of the British Police Federation. Other youth organisations like the scout group also laid a wreath.

Sidmouth Town Band provided the music and hymns at the parade in Budleigh. Lots of parades took place around East Devon, including the biggest ceremony in Exmouth.
