The Lympstone Military Wives Choir is set to perform a concert.
The event, Falling Leaves Rising Voices, will take place on Saturday, November 23, at Holy Trinity Church, Exmouth.
The performance will begin at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 7pm.
The choir will present a varied programme, featuring songs from Cole Porter to Coldplay, Schubert to Snow Patrol.
The programme will also include numbers specifically written or arranged for the Military Wives Choirs, with the potential for some audience involvement.
Tickets are priced at £12 for adults, £10 for seniors, and £5 for children and can be purchased in advance by contacting lympstone@militarywiveschoirs.org, or at the door on the night of the concert.
The event will also feature a raffle and interval refreshments.
Funds raised will support the choir's mission to unite women impacted by military life through singing.
Founded in 2011 following the Gareth Malone TV series, the Lympstone Military Wives Choir currently boasts around 20 members.
Part of the wider Military Wives Choirs network, which consists of over 2,000 women in 70 choirs across the UK and internationally, they rehearse on Wednesdays from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Gordon Messenger Centre.
The network offers a supportive community to all women whose lives are currently affected by their military connections, fostering life-changing friendships and providing uplifting experiences.
Singing in a choir has been shown to enhance wellbeing and improve both mental and physical health.
With no auditions and no pressure to perform, the Military Wives Choirs offer members the opportunity to spend time with women who understand the challenges of military life.
New members are always welcome, and those interested can contact the choir at lympstone@militarywiveschoirs.org.
