A free cycling confidence training session was organised by Seachange in Budleigh Salterton.

Held in partnership with Active Devon on Tuesday, November 12, the session aimed to help adults improve their cycling skills and confidence.

Participants were guided by Chris Johns, a National Standard Cycling Coach.

The session, part of a wider initiative by Active Devon and Devon County Council, was tailored to individual needs, catering to a maximum of three people per group.

It was conducted partly on roads and partly on cycle paths in quieter areas.

The training is free for anyone over 18 who lives or works in Devon.

It aims to boost confidence in making short journeys on cycle paths.

Feedback from the participants indicated they found the session particularly beneficial.

The session was specifically geared towards individuals' needs, making it more impactful.

Active Devon is also providing training for Volunteer Cycling Leads, who lead the fortnightly cycling sessions.

These sessions are free to participate in and are held on Mondays from Exmouth and Thursdays from Seachange in Budleigh Salterton.
