Two Independents have stormed to victory in the Ottery St Mary Town Ward.
Peter Faithfull (987 votes) is a newcomer, while Roger Giles will serve another term after landing a whopping 2,087 votes.
Conservatives Nick Partridge (561 votes) and Tim Venner (763 votes) lost oout, along with Labour’s Andrew Blackwell (513 votes).
