Exmouth Town can expect to lock horns with nine clubs that they have previously met in League encounters in next season’s Southern League.
With Devon derbies against Bideford, Willand Rovers and Tavistock, they will also renew acquaintances with Larkhall Athletic, Paulton Rovers, Frome and Westbury, as well as two sides they have met recently in FA Cup competitions; Melksham Town (lost 2-0 in 2020/21) and Bristol Manor Farm whom they defeated 2-1 in last season’s competition.
There are two others that Town have previously met in the FA Vase. Wimborne Town, where they won 2-1 in 1982/83 season, and Bashley, who defeated Town 4-0 at Southern Road in 1989/90. The remaining eight clubs are AFC Totton, Bishop Cleeve, Evesham United, Hamworthy United, Lymington Town, Merthyr Town, Sholing, and Slimbridge.
Town will also be contesting the FA Trophy this season in which they competed in 1974/75, when they were beaten 5-0 at Falmouth Town.
