East Budleigh completed their league season and had to settle for a point with a late strike from Liam West, saving their blushes in a 5-5 draw against Halwill.
On ten minutes, a free-kick from Jack Howarth was parried before Guy Laverock squared for Rian Hill to score. West and Hill were next involved as Jack Greenslade scored at the second attempt.
The visitors took their first opportunity to make it 2-1, but order was restored when Hugo Demetre headed in a Greenslade corner. Four minutes before half-time, the away side made it 3-2 with their second chance.
Into the second half and a quickfire double from Halwill stunned the home side until West headed his first from a Sam Balbi corner on the hour.
Once again, the visitors scored and it was left to West to strike a 25-yard screamer in off the underside of the bar, leaving us all needing a lie down.
