East Budleigh Reserves completed their league campaign in the Joma Devon & Exeter League Division 4 with trebles for both Nathan Penhallurick and Owen Corrick in a 6-1 defeat of Millwey Rise after a superb first-half display.
Eight minutes in, Penhallurick used his pace to beat his marker and finish confidently, before adding his second when put through by Dan Atkinson.
Corrick got in on the act, heading in a Tom Christian corner on 23 minutes and it was four on the half hour, when man of the match Jack Manning supplied the through ball for Penhallurick, who turned provider as Corrick goth the final touch. As the half drew to a close, both Penhallurick and Corrick took the score to six.
The away side grabbed a consolation in the second half, as Budleigh took their foot off the gas, but the damage had already been done with a first-half blitz.
