East Budleigh completed a league double over Lympstone with what turned out to be a comfortable 4-1 victory.
The first quarter saw Budleigh take time to settle and goalkeeper Mark Bown denied Rich Higham an opening goal for the Lympets.
Hugo Demetre was then thwarted by the away stopper, before Budleigh took the lead. Demetre fed Harry Bennett whose shot deflected to the back post, where Nathan Penhallurick nodded in.
After the break, Budleigh took control. Rian Hill went close from an excellent Guy Laverock centre before it was 2-0 on the hour. Liam West found Jack Greenslade, who sent man of the match Bennett clear and his shot found its way under the ‘keeper and into the net.
Six minutes later, a Greenslade corner provided the third with West applying the vital touch and it was four when George Harris produced an accomplished finish. Joel Knott scored a late consolation for the visitors.
