Goals a plenty at Vicarage Road, as East Budleigh comfortably defeated Hatherleigh 6-2.
On three minutes, Rian Hill set up Jack Howarth to slot home the opening goal, before the away side levelled from a corner. Budleigh were back in front five minutes later; Jack Greenslade and Sam Balbi combining to set up Hill for the goal.
In a frantic opening 20 minutes, Howarth’s corner was met by Will Price and when cleared as far as Greenslade he fired in to the net.
The visitors were back in the game for a second time taking just their second chance to reduce the arrears and there was still more to come before the break; This time it was Greenslade with the corner and Price converting at the far post for 4-2.
Three minutes after the re-start Balbi saw his cut back turned into his own net by a visiting defender to make it five and Greenslade nodded in number six.
