Young golfers can now take their first steps toward the Ryder Cup and Augusta, or perhaps just a lifelong love of the game, by joining the Golf Access Programme at East Devon Golf Club.
On Wednesday evenings, the junior section enjoy their practise sessions with regular competitions in place to help the youngsters achieve, and improve, their handicaps.
This process includes an introduction for beginners through Golf Access, an exciting new format designed to help golf clubs encourage new participants to experience the game, with the opportunity to learn on the course, rather than just on the driving range.
Golf Access offers nine different levels for new players to work through, with participants receiving a certificate and coloured wrist band each time they move on to the next phase.
