The points were shared in the Youth Alliance South West division last weekend despite a six-goal thriller in Exeter City’s Under-18s contest with Forest Green Rovers U18s.
After a slow start, the hosts grew into the contest, and they opened the scoring with their first shot at goal on 18 minutes, George Spencer converting from close range. Ed James headed in a second but FGR came back with goals early in the second period.
The Grecian substitutes helped add some energy, and courtesy of one of their newbies, they seized back momentum. Joe Wragg was fouled inside the box in the 75th minute, and he converted from 12-yards to set up a thrilling finale.
But FGR continued to push, and they made it a six-goal contest with just 10 minutes remaining when a quick break ended with a low finish into the bottom corner to level the game once again and break City's hearts.
