Young Judo champs from John Goldman's Exmouth Judo Centre gathered together for the presentation of the annual awards after a fantastic year at the club.
Various awards, Pupil of the Year, Spirit of Judo, Perserverance, Etiquette and Effort were made by Exmouth's Town Crier Roger Bourgein. There were additional awards for team of the year players.
Roger told the youngsters that they were a credit to the club, their families and Exmouth, and in particular paid tribute to their display of skills, the etiquette and friendship shown towards one and other.
He thanked John Goldman, a Black Belt 7th Dan, and his daughter Ruth, 6th Dan for all they continue to do in the town. Anyone wanting to have a free go should contact Ruth on 07891 794057. Judo is a brilliant sport in so many ways and a great education in etiquette and discipline.
