Brixington Blues picked up a vital point in their league campaign away at Crediton with a much-improved and battling display.
Brixington were unlucky not to take the lead by half time with Ryan McCann hitting the bar from a fabulously struck free kick.
The Blues conceded a penalty early in the second half against the run of play, but Alphey Smith in goal made a number of brave saves to keep the Blues in the game and with the clock ticking down, McCann won the ball on the right and lofted a beautiful cross into the box to see Harry Tooby pop up and hammer home the equaliser and take a point from a tough game.
Line up: Alphey Smith 1, Frank Shelton 2, Harley Westaway 19, Ethan Smith 4, Louis Foorde 18, Harry Tooby 22, Ryan McCann 6, Oliver Dawkins 7, Ned O’Mahoney 8, Josh Tompkinson 10, Will Palfrey 23, Harry Batten 9, Taylor Westaway 21
