Brixington Blues Youth Football Club past and present gathered this week to bid a fond farewell to Richard Taylor, who has been involved in the club for over 30 years and is stepping down from his role as Club Chairman.
Richard began his Blues career as a coach and has held a variety of committee roles over the years, latterly as Chairman. Richard is highly respected in the club and his contribution to youth football in Exmouth is outstanding.
The club invited past and present players, coaches and committee members to come together to celebrate Richard’s achievements. The current oldest player of the club presented Richard with a framed “vintage” Blues shirt, which also held a team photo of the first team he coached.
Brixington Blues would like to say a huge thank-you to Richard for everything he has done for the club over the years. Edward Wright will now take on the role of chairman.
