East Budleigh bounced back from last week’s cup loss to crush bottom side Dawlish 8-1 last Saturday, writes Mark Auton.
Budleigh cruised to victory with four goals in each half including a hat-trick from player of the match Adam Wilkinson. First half strikes from Jack Greenslade, Jack Howarth and a brace from Brad Hill set them on their way.
Wilkinson was the star after the break with his treble, whilst Rian Hill also found the back of the net for a Budleigh side who will look for more of the same when they host Lympstone this weekend.
East Budleigh Reserves took a two-goal lead at unbeaten Alphington with an excellent first 35 minutes before the Alphas hit back to secure a 6-2 victory.
Tom Christian gave the Jays the lead from an acute angle, before Brendan Hood capitalised on a defensive mix up to smash home the second.
