Brxongton Blues took the local bragging rights with a 3-1 victory at Exmouth Town in the U15 League Cup
Brixington Blues took the initiative in the local Derby straight from kick off as a lovely through ball put Jude Ritchie through on goal to slot home in the opening seconds.
In the second half the Blues went 2-0 up after great work in midfield from Will Palfrey and Josh Tomkinson, which saw them win a throw in in a dangerous area, Harry Tooby received the ball in box and neatly turned his man to fire home.
Shortly after, Harry Tooby got his leg taken out in the area for Brixington to win a penalty which, after a lot of dispute, Ned O’Mahoney stepped up and hammered into the top left-hand corner.
Exmouth Town did pull a goal back, but it was too little, too late.
