FORMER Bridgwater United manager Dave Pearse has found a new job in football just nine days after he was sacked.
He will join the managerial team at Exmouth Town Football Club in East Devon.
Currently, Exmouth are in a relegation place in the Pitching In Southern League Division One South which is a league above Bridgwater United.
It will be a new challenge for Pearse managing at a higher level, but Exmouth believe he will help the club in their battle with relegation.
A spokesperson from Exmouth Town has said: "We are delighted to announce that Dave Pearse has joined the back room team following his departure from Bridgwater United.
"He joins following 7 years at the Somerset side, and will be a huge addition to the dugout."
On November 18, Pearse was relieved of his duties at Bridgwater United despite the team sitting in second place in the league table.
Many Bridgwater fans were disappointed with his dismissal and expressed their feelings on social media.
