Exmouth CC 2nds have played their first indoor softball league contests of the year and there was no rustiness with bat or ball, as they won a maximum 12 points.

First of all, Exmouth defeated Budleigh Salterton CC by 96 runs and then followed it up with victory over Whimple CC by 51 runs. Special mention for youngsters Evelyn and Jess, who took two wickets each on their debuts for Exmouth Women.

The Devon Cricket Foundation is launching two new Girls’ Cricket Hubs at Bicton College in East Budleigh and in Bideford, starting in February. Full information can be found on the Devon Cricket website.

A number of Exmouth CC juniors helped Exmouth Community College U13s to a runner-up finish in the Exeter and East Devon indoor finals, qualifying the team for the Devon finals alongside the tournament winners from Kings.
