The footballers at Lympstone U13s were given an almighty boost with a visit from two special guests for a training session and a chat with the team, writes Keith Williams.

Exeter City stars Sonny Cox and Mitch Beardmore shared their experiences with a team made up of players who have struggled to find clubs where they can just play football and enjoy it.

We are having a tough season for a few different reasons but they all turn up every week to training and games and they are a joy to work with.

I wanted to reward their hard work with a visit from two Exeter players, who were amazing in giving up their time for the youngsters. Lympstone are one of the best clubs I’ve had the pleasure of working with and represent at every age group, with a new girls team also coming soon.
