It was a busy Easter weekend of football for East Budleigh.
The 10 men battled tirelessly to gain a point in a Division 1 encounter against Hatherleigh on Saturday, March 30.
It was the away side whose speculative effort gave them the lead, though Budleigh were the better side.
Jack Howarth and Jack Greenslade could both have scored before Rian Hill levelled on 25 minutes following a move involving Alex Manning, Greenslade and Brad Hill.
Only minutes later, Budleigh were somewhat harshly reduced to 10 men and then found themselves 2-1 down at the break.
In the second half, Budleigh were exceptional and deservedly levelled late-on.
A superb cross field pass from Dan Atkinson picked out Brad Hill, whose ball across goal was converted by Kyle Pearcey - and that's how it finished.
East Budleigh were also in East Devon Senior Cup action.
On Easter Monday, the Jays booked their place in the next round of the competition with a 2-0 victory over Newton St Cyres.
The first half lacked chances, with the visitors happy to play on the break.
Budleigh were the better side in the second period and had to wait until a quarter of an hour from time to score their first.
Toby Hill assisted brother and Player of the Match Rian Hill, who found the bottom corner.
Rian Hill then turned provider for Jack Greenslade to make it two and seal the tie.
Budleigh are next in action at Ottery St Mary on Saturday 13th April.
