Budleigh Bowls Club held the finals of their Indoor competitions on April 5 and 6.
Seven trophies were contested over the two days, involving singles and pairs competitions.
The major mixed competition - The Mixed Pairs – was won by the duo of John Dill and Evelyn Crook, who claimed victory over Gerard McCarthy and Gwen Hurst.
John Dill has been playing bowls for many years, whereas Ms Crook only took-up the sport in 2022.
Two of the prestigious games are played for the 4-Wood Cups, with the winner being the first player to score 21 shots.
The Ladies Cup was won by Melissa Camp, who had a hard-fought match against Marilyn Foreman.
Meanwhile, the Men’s Cup was won by Peter Cooper, who beat Martyn Ashmead, someone who only joined the indoor section of the club this season.
Other wins were recorded by Paul Griffin, who beat David Roberts in the 2 Wood, and later in the day Mr Griffin succumbed to Martyn Ashmead, who secured a win in their 106 game.
The Ladies 106 game was a tightly fought match, with Marilyn Foreman coming from behind to beat Melissa Camp by the narrowest of margins.
Ton Mackness, club captain, commented: "It was very pleasing to see some of our newer members doing so well in these friendly internal competitions.
"We are looking forward to moving to the Outdoor Rinks later in the month”.
