West Hill Wasps took on Lympstone Youth U13s.
Lympstone came out firing in this game and were really strong right from the start.
James Messenger got the opening goal with a superb free kick from the edge of the box.
Reece Edwards picked the ball up on the half-way line and drove at the West Hill defence to score his first of the day.
He quickly picked the ball up again and scored his second which made it 3-0 at half time to Lympstone.
Mr Edwards completed his hat trick with a powerful drive from 25 yards.
West Hill tried battling back and scored one, but then shortly after Jaden Pannell scored a free kick from 30 yards out.
Shortly afterwards, Reece Edwards went on to score his fourth goal of the day.
Special mention to Jack Worthington in midfield who fought hard throughout the game.
Lympstone defence were strong throughout with standout performances from centre back pairing Jacob Kingston and Charlie Hallett.
Full backs Ethan Whenman and Harry Fegan were strong throughout.
The full time whistle blew with a final score of 6-1 in favour of Lympstone.
This was Lympstone U13s’ first win after a difficult season being placed in the wrong league.
Results have been improving recently and this is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of everyone involved during training sessions.
