Ivybridge 10km
Andy Johnson was Harriers sole representative in the Ivybridge 10km on a relatively fast course (despite the steep hill from Bittaford to Moorhaven). The last 6km of the route was almost all downhill, making for a very fast 2nd half of the race.

Sunday 12th May
Ottery 10km
Seventeen Harriers
Another good turnout for the club with 17 Harriers running in the Ottery 10km that started and finished at the Ottery St Mary Cricket Club. Oli White led the race from “gun to tape” to retain the title he won in 2023. The event was superbly put on by Honiton Running Club with excellent refreshments afterwards including some of the best “homemade” cakes and biscuits on sale in the clubhouse.

The Lap - Windermere 75km
Probably the greatest achievement by any Harriers in the last week was by Nick Ramm & Jim Comer who took part in The Lap - 75km around Windermere; the largest lake in England.
Both finished in good shape in 619th place after being on their feet for 20 hours 39 minutes and 47 seconds after almost 9,000 feet of elevation gain.
Nick said afterwards: “By far the most brutal and amazing running experience I’ve ever had - never experienced so many emotions, laughs and views”.
- 619th Nick Ramm 20.39.47
- 619th Jim Comer 20.39.47
