Exmouth Harriers husband and wife Des and Alison White competed for GB Masters in three races over three days in the European Masters Athletic Championships Non Stadia in Porto Santo.

Overall during the three days of racing, Alison won an amazing five medals (individual bronze in the W65 10km & individual silver in the W65 1/2 Marathon plus three team Silver medals).
Des won two team bronze medals in the M70 age group category 10km and half marathon races.
Last weekend, Exmouth Harriers were present in the 3 Creeks Race in South Hams, Devon.
Brothers James and Sam Kelly tackled the race and finished in 2nd place overall out of 12 teams.
The unique race combined endurance, nautical skill and the beauty of the South Hams coastline in a weekend.
The race started in Dartmouth at 11am with runners rowing their tenders across the Dart to Kingswear for the first run.
From Kingswear, it was off to Salcombe going around the infamous Start Point in the process.
The second running leg was from Mill Bay to Prawle Point and back.
The fleet then regrouped on Saturday night in Salcombe, ahead of an early start, the following day for the final leg.
On Sunday, the sail saw Class 1 yachts sailing around the Eddystone Lighthouse to the beautiful river Yealm, with Class 2 yachts going direct for the final running challenge, 8 miles of coastal joy.
The finish was at the Yealm Yacht Club.
While on Saturday, May 18, four Harriers competed in the 2nd race in the Dartmoor Fell Race series, which started and finished at Meldon Dam.
Anthony said after the race: “It was boiling on arrival, with thunder and rain 10 minutes before the start, we headed up Yes Tor, High Willhays, then Black Tor, it was a fun event”.

On Sunday May 19, there was the Beer Blazer 5 and 10 Miles.
Three Harriers ran in this multi-terrain 10mile, 5mile, 5km and Fun Run event in Beer, East Devon.
It is organised by members of the Beer Primary School PTFA. a not-for-profit race raising funds for Beer Primary School PTFA.
Nathan Sheehy was in fine form winning the 5 Mile race in a superb time that also saw him take the M50 age category.
