Exmouth Harriers were in full flow last weekend - including one runner who ran his third marathon in four weeks.

Starting on Sunday, June 2, Alice Thomas ran in the sunshine in the first-ever Roadford Reservoir Charity 10km Run.

It is held to support the Devon Wildlife Trust and the Cornwall Wildlife Trust.

The unique event was set in the grounds of the beautiful Roadford Reservoir in Lifton.

Alice said afterwards: “Mud and hills on off-road trails, but a goodie bag full of strawberries”

24th: Alice Thomas - 53.59 (5th female finisher and 3rd in the Open Female category)

Next, Chris Murrin ran in his third marathon in four weeks - his 132nd of all time - on Sunday, June 2 in the Marvellous II Run.

It took place in Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey that included over 2,500 ft of elevation.

This was in preparation for his run on Saturday, June 8 in the iconic Dartmoor Discovery race that starts and finishes in Princetown.

The 32 mile 899 yard course takes the runners up and down some of the toughest hills that Dartmoor has to offer.

It’s known as the longest single lap road ultra marathon in the UK and Chris will be joined by a number of fellow Exmouth Harriers.
