Douglas McCombie took an impressive 69th place after racing 6.5 laps around the Torbay Velopark on a flat, fast tarmac course.
His finishing time was 48.06.
In another exciting event, Dana Kalin & Matt Harrison journeyed north to participate in the Tough Runner Scotland on June 15.
The race course encompassed a challenging 11 miles around the grounds of Drumlanrig Castle, in Dumfries and Galloway.
Matt said: "Lots of mud, forest trails, ice plunges and other various obstacles including an electric fence."
Meanwhile, the Burrator Horseshoe race was happening on the same day.
This was the 5th race in the 2024 Dartmoor Fell Race Series, a 6-mile moorland run over Dartmoor.
The course, teeming with stunning views included a gravelly ford dip and finished on the village green outside the Royal Oak Inn.
The 2nd spots in their age groups were bagged by Anthony Hatchard & Hugh Marsden, clocking 45.10 and 57.42, respectively.
Further, Dawn Teed outdid herself, finishing with flying colours – securing 1st place in the W60 age group with a decent 75.32.
Marathon enthusiasts did not have to wait long as the Giants Head Weekend was on last Saturday.
Four Harriers, Lisa Boyd, Harriet Lyons, Alice Thomas and Carrie Webb, travelled to the village of Sydling St Nicholas in Dorset.
The Giants Head weekend provided three different events for varied tastes.
The Sydling Hill Race, an 11 km challenging trek through the Sydling and Cerne Valleys, was tackled by Alice, Lisa and Harriet on Saturday morning.
Alice secured 13th place overall and 2nd in her age group (F30) while Harriet finished 36th overall and Lisa bagged 2nd place in the F50 age group.
Alice, Harriet and Lisa sportingly completed their respective races with reasonable timings – 1.07.46, 1.13.44 and 1.17.45.
Subsequently, on Sunday, Carrie Webb took part in the Giants Head Half Marathon.
There, Carrie bravely completed the 13.1 miles in the hilly race, ending 3rd in the F50 age group in 2.31.22.
