The Budleigh Over 60s Triples League teams keep their promotion dreams alive after a string of impressive performances.

The Budleigh Otters and Beavers, both involved in crucial matches, fought bravely to bolster their standings in the Exeter and District Triples League.

The Beavers faced top-of-the-table South Molton, making their journey home worthwhile with six vital points from a stirring victory.

Robin Grenyer, Andy Skudder and skip Brian Ward clinched an impressive 22-9 win while Ted Shanahan, Les Gay and Bryan Membery, despite falling short by five shots, added enough to the overall effort for the team to triumph.

The Beavers now look towards their next match against Honiton, a win of which could secure their position in the top two of division 8.
