Budleigh Salterton 2nd have stormed the Devon and Exeter Football League Division 3, netting nineteen goals in two victories.
Their explosive season kicked off with an exciting 9-3 triumph over Uffculme.
The home side's goals were scored by Paul Barnes (3), Greg MacMartin (2), Martin Lidstone (2), Jordan Wakefield and Daniel Tapp.
Last Saturday, September 14, the team faced Sidmouth Town 3rd in a head-spinning derby that ended 4-3 in favour of Salterton.
Greg Martin scored the decisive goal after ties by Jordan Wakefield, Joey Bagley, and Joe Walker.
Throughout the ninety minutes, it was penalty area to penalty area, as both sides went on the attack from the kick-off, whilst both keepers produced several fine saves.
In the end, victory and bragging rights belong to the Robins.
