Exmouth Harriers athletes, Alice Kelly and Oli White took part in the South West Counties Half Marathon Championships.
The championship was held within the Chippenham Half Marathon.
Their performance on an undulating course around Chippenham and the scenic Wiltshire countryside roads helped secure both Men’s and Women’s team Silver Medals for Devon.
Alice excelled, finishing as the second Woman while being the top Woman finisher for Devon, clocking 1.21.41.
Oli finished 11th overall with an impressive time of 1.13.56, becoming the second counter for the Devon Men's team.
In other news, Exmouth Harriers also took part in the fifth and final 2024 Sandy Bay Time Trial.
Run on a challenging 5km multi-terrain course on the South West Coast Path, Rob Ellis won with a time of 21.34, followed by Scott Jamieson who clocked 22.11.
In the Yeovilton 5km race on September 11, Alice and Des White made their mark among more than 200 runners.
Des finished 157th and was the second M70 to finish in 23.34.
Alice finished as the first W65 in 26.10, her best time of the season.
Chris Murrin ranked 7th, clocking 4.12.18 on the Budleigh trail in Exmouth during the 100 Marathon Challenge Event on September 14, marking his 139th marathon.
