In an exhilarating twist, Withycombe RFC clinched victory over Exmouth RFC 24-19 in the thrilling U16 rugby derby last Sunday.
Both teams exhibited immense grit throughout the tension-filled game.
Just when Exmouth was leading 19-17, Withycombe bounced back with a try and conversion in the last 3 minutes.
However, in keeping with the Exmouth tradition, it was handshakes and a joint team photo after the final whistle.
It promises to be quite an encounter when these teams meet again.
