Budleigh Bowls Club celebrated 10 victories during their 2024 Outdoor competition finals under clear skies.
The competition took place from September 13 to 15.
Rosemary Carter, a prominent winner, clinched the Ladies 2 Wood competition by defeating Melissa Camp by 11 shots.
Carter also beat Penny Weeks in the 106 game.
Weeks was later triumphant in the 4 Wood Championship game.
Noteworthy was the Men's 2 Wood competition that featured new club members Mike James and Ted Shanahan.
James won the close game by two shots.
Shanahan later lifted the Novices Cup, beating Les Gay by nine shots.
The weekend's closing event, the 4 Wood Championship, was taken by Norman Upchurch who defeated Evelyn Crook 22:15.
The complete list of winners included Rosemary Carter for both Ladies 2 Wood and 106, Penny Weeks for 4 Wood, and Mike James and Peter Cooper for the Open Pairs.
In addition, Norman Upchurch clinched the Open 4 Wood, Ted Shanahan won the Novice Cup, and the team of Melissa Camp, Peter Cooper, and Annie Clarke won the Mixed Triples.
The Men's trophies were taken by Mike James for 2 Wood, Andy Cardy for 4 Wood, and the pair of Peter Foreman and Simon Griffiths.
Following the prize presentation, Club Captain Tony Mackness expressed appreciation for those who helped organise the event.
He said: "I would like to offer the Club’s thanks to Andy Skudder and Marilyn Foreman who put in so much hard work in organising this important fixture and to the all the Members who entered the competitions."
