Football: Robins soar into next round of cup
Budleigh Salterton 2nd secured a commanding 3-0 victory against Tedburn St Mary 1st in the Bill Slee Cup second round.
The Devon & Exeter League Division 3 team were quick off the mark, with Joseph Bagley scoring in the twelfth minute.
Despite a shuffle in defence, the Robins led at half-time.
Tedburn started the second half in good spirits.
However, another goal from Matthew Lidstone solidified Budleigh's lead.
Though Tedburn's defender Gareth Dart performed admirably, a third goal by Sam Hollis dashed his efforts.
Harry Gibbings earned Budleigh's Man of the Match.
The game was hailed as a deserving 3-0 victory for the Robins.
