Helen Chivers has aced Tuesday's golf competition, sweeping all four major prizes of the Autumn Meeting.
In her best performance this year, Chivers shot a gross of 77, four over par, winning the Pheasant Trophy and the Autumn Cup with a nett 67, barely edging past Sue Burley who shot a nett 68.
The victorious day was only part of Chivers' accomplishments.
She also claimed the Peggy Anstey Salver and the Mathieson Cup for the best gross and nett aggregate scores respectively from the combined Spring and Autumn Meetings.
Her gross score of 167 and net score of 147 placed her above participants Sally Underwood and Sandra Pritchard.
As an afternoon to the event, Thursday's foursomes brought Barbara Mellor and Peggy Lomas into the limelight, a pair who bagged a victory with 39 Stableford points, demonstrating that age doesn't hinder success in golf.
The foursomes were followed by a celebration honouring the winners of the second half of this year, a suitable closing to a sunny week of golf.
