East Budleigh Reserves returned to action last Saturday in a derby at neighbours Budleigh and after putting up a good fight eventually lost 3-1.
The Jays gave debuts to Harry Trick, Rich Ralph and Jed Moore de Meynier who all slotted in well.
The visitors did well in the first half, but it was the home side that scored on the stroke of half-time.
Ten minutes into the second half Lewis Fletcher levelled things up, whilst Tom Christian also went close.
The Robins regained the lead midway through the half despite the efforts of Budleigh keeper Chris Wardle who had a good game.
A late own goal gave the hosts a third to seal the win.
