However, Chew Valley responded with a try from Joe Cowell, which was converted by George Chapman, putting the score at 8-7 in favour of Exmouth.

With two conversions from Meadows, the score at halftime stood at 22-7.
Coach and players noted that a few missed opportunities could have increased their lead further.
The second half saw Exmouth dominate the match.

Charlie Gibbings contributed significantly as well, completing a hat trick.
Additional tries from Jake Inglis and Oli Cave, along with four successful conversions from Meadows, solidified Exmouth's commanding lead.

Despite their challenges, Chew Valley managed to grab a consolation try from Dean Brooker, which Chapman converted.
The game concluded with the final score of 65-14 in favour of Exmouth.
Exmouth's performance highlighted their strength in depth, with solid contributions from all players.

A special mention goes out to Crediton for loaning players to help ensure their game went ahead.
Meanwhile, the Exmouth Rugby Women are still awaiting the start of their season.
Their first two games were cancelled due to extreme weather and a waterlogged pitch.
Their next match is scheduled for November 10, when they will travel to face Brixham Sirens.
As Exmouth Rugby continues to build momentum, both the men's and women's teams look forward to their upcoming challenges and hope for good weather conditions that will allow them to play.
