An Exmouth Harriers runner has completed his 142nd marathon with a record time.
Chris Murrin finished the Winding Paths Grand Canal Canter in Tiverton in four hours and nine minutes, achieving a personal best for the course.
Langdon Williams also participated in a race, the Tavy 7, finishing in 29th position in minutes and 19 seconds.
He was the first man over 55 to cross the finish line.
The route was seven miles and crossed Dartmoor lanes near Tavistock.
This included Plaster Down, Pew Tor and the hamlet of Sampford Spiney.
The Budleigh Blister race will take place on November 24.
This 10-mile multi-terrain event will start and finish at Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club at 9.30am and is open for all to enter.

The circular route takes in the South West Coast Path via Ladram Bay and Otterton.
Currently, there are 200 runners signed up with a limit of 250.
