An Exmouth Harrier has astonishingly completed four marathons in just two weeks.

Chris Murrin ran the Lest We Forget Marathon in Walton-on-Thames on Saturday, November 9, finishing in 4 hours, 14 minutes, and 7 seconds.

He said: "It was a tough day as it was my third marathon in 13 days."

The next day, on Sunday, November 10, Chris ran his fourth marathon in 14 days, the Remembrance Marathon in Sunbury-on-Thames, clocking a time of 4 hours, 17 minutes, and 45 seconds.

After completing the race, he said: "It was really tough to get going after the two-minute silence."

On the same day, seven other Exmouth Harriers took part in the challenging Drogo 10, a 10-mile multi-terrain fell race around the National Trust castle in Drewsteignton.

Alice Kelly shone, finishing 15th overall and second in the women's category with a time of 1 hour, 12 minutes, and 16 seconds.

Other Harriers included Jules Nelmes, Jenny Reay, Jimmy Joy, Graham Mullin, Amanda McCann, and Amy Tew, with Jenny Reay finishing first in the W65 category.

In the Sodbury Slog, John Terry represented the Harriers in the gruelling 10-mile multi-terrain challenge in South Gloucestershire.

He finished in 24th place, with a time of 1 hour, 10 minutes, and 37 seconds, earning third place in the M50 category.
