Newtown defeated Budleigh Salterton 2-0 in a recent encounter.
Budleigh Salterton, also known as the Robins, initially showed promise, creating several early opportunities which unfortunately went unconverted.
Goalkeeper James Sharkey, who later received the Man of the Match award, was instrumental in keeping the score level, making crucial saves, including a close-range header.
However, Newtown gained the upper hand in the second half, with Dale O'Donoghue heading in the first goal.
Cody Cox sealed the victory with a low shot from inside the box, leaving Budleigh Salterton without a win.
