Nine Exmouth Harriers competed in the second event of the 2024/25 Westward League Cross Country on Sunday.
The race, held at Newquay Sports Centre, saw the Harriers achieve various placements across different distances.
In the women's 5.4km race, Lydia Stimson finished 63rd with a time of 21.55, while Jenny Reay came in 72nd, clocking 22.12.
Rob Ellis secured 11th place for the men in the 8.5km race, finishing in 27.25.
Other notable performances included Anthony Hatchard in 49th place, Simon Minting in 56th, Dave Stone in 83rd, Casey Mulholland in 106th, Hugh Marsden in 139th, and Jimmy Joy in 147th.
The Harriers' senior men's team sits in ninth place after two of the six races in the 2024/25 series, while the veteran men's team is in second place.
On the same day, Terry McKie participated in the Winding Paths Starcross Shuffle, a 26.78-mile race, finishing fifth with a time of 4.06.06.
His 26.2-mile time was 3.57.
Mr McKie said: "It was perfect conditions and a good race format... 'out and backs'... with good support between runners and good cheering marshals too."
The Harriers now focus on the Budleigh Blister 10 Mile multi-terrain race on Sunday, November 24.
This race, hosted by the Exmouth Harriers, will start at 9.30am at the Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club.
With 250 runners from various running clubs, the route promises some spectacular scenery on the South West Coast Path via Ladram Bay, turning inland at Peak Hill before passing through Otterton towards a fast finish at the Cricket Club.
