There’s an impressive folk concert coming up at East Budleigh’s Salem Chapel.
As well as a feast of performers, the ticket price includes a complimentary drink and a choice of tapas.
The concert, from 4pm-10pm on Sunday, April 15, features folk duo Emily Smith and Jamie McClennan.
Emily is an award-winning singer. A leading figure of the Scottish folk scene, she’s received two nominations in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
Her husband Jamie plays fiddle, guitar and sings, and has produced the duo’s latest album, which they will be previewing at the concert.
The show also includes performances by Miranda Sykes (who plays double bass and sings with Show of Hands), singer-songwriter Reg Meuross and The Ellis Gang.
Tickets are £25. For tickets call 01395 445346, or email davidash@btinternet.com
