The first Exmouth Community Market (ECM) is tomorrow (Saturday, October 1), from 10am to 6pm, in The Strand.
The fortnightly market – launched by Daniel Szarowicz and The Grapevine’s Oliver Bainbridge – will showcase ‘local producers, business and the community that Exmouth has to offer, ranging from artisan foods to arts and crafts’.
It will also offer free stalls for charities, small business start-ups, local music and street performances.
Already 30 stalls have been confirmed for this Saturday, with 50 booked for the second market on October 15.
“This has been a great effort by all involved in organising this event,” say the market’s organisers. “We hope you will all join us on Saturday to invite yet more great independent businesses to our fantastic town.”
